I’ve been one of the leaders of the Glasgow Urban Sketchers group since 2024 and the group is continuing to go from strength to strength, with 20 or more super-keen sketchers coming to events twice a month – though we’re slowing down for winter and always trying to find new indoor venues to shelter from the Scottish weather!
In April we became an official chapter of the global urban sketching community and now you can get your sketchbook stamped with our official logo when you come along to one of our meet-ups (such a kick).
If you don't know what it’s all about, just come along to a sketchmeet and find out – it’s a lovely group of people and all ages and abilities are welcome, all you need is a bit of paper and a pen or pencil and we’ll keep you right. Join our Facebook group ‘Glasgow Urban Sketchers’ or follow us on Instagram @glasgowurbansketchers for news of latest events.
